The International Chamber Music Festival (ICMF) in Stavanger aims to bring world-renowned soloists and new talents together to perform chamber music in new ensembles. This gives ICMF an innovative and unpredictable aspect that has been noticed on the international music scene. The festival includes the International Summer Academy (ISA) with master classes in music and dance. Artistic directors are the Swedish clarinettist Martin Fröst and the Norwegian pianist Christian Ihle Hadland.
