Welcome to new fantastic concerts in the spectacular scenery of Lofoten!

Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival started in 2004. From summer 2014 the brand new Lofoten Piano Festival alternates with the Chamber Music Festival every second year. Both the Chamber Music Festival and the Piano Festival present concerts and lectures of highest class. Highly acclaimed artists from the international music scene visit the festivals every summer, and the combination classic chamber music/piano music, the beautiful concert churches of Lofoten and the overwhelming nature give the audience experiences they not easily forget.

Our festival center for the pianofestival is "Solsiden Brygge" at Ballstad. Ballstad is an idyllic fishing village on the southern end of Vestvågøy, pointing out into Vestfjorden, about ten minutes drive from Leknes. Solsiden Brygge has great cabin facilities with cabins and appartments. Here is also the cafe "Himmel og havn". We will use this cafe as our main restaurant, and we more than gladly recommend this place to our audience too.
